“cão de sete patas” (seven-legged dog) stems from the dream of an iconic character in Brazilian marginal cinema. Sônia Silk — played by Helena Ignez — in the film Copacabana Mon Amour (1971) by Rogério Sganzerla, dreams of seven-legged dogs, animal-men, and other monsters. 'seven-legged dog' is an interdisciplinary work that explores the relationship between fiction and documentary, between dreams and memory, between an actress and her character.
